Why
The driving force behind the ethical conduct of Alimentum is owner John Hudgell. John’s previous business was a successful food retailing operation which exposed him to large scale, intensive rearing and feeding practices, predominantly in the poultry markets.
With his conscious pricked he became increasingly uneasy with the procurement of meat from these sources, and made the commitment when establishing Alimentum to only buy meat products from animals that were extensively reared, and led full and purposeful lives.
