After a barnstorming sell-out set in September, Alimentum is very proud to welcome back the sensational vocalist Natalie Williams and her band. The Ronnie Scott’s regular and “Eastside Records” recording artist has been making big waves on the UK and International scene with her inimitable brand of Soul-drenched jazz. Since graduating in 2001 from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama Natalie has recorded and performed with some of the hottest acts around including Amy Winehouse, John Legend and Alison Moyet. In concert she has appeared at many festivals around the world including the Abu Dhabi Jazz Festival, Kaunas Jazz festival in Lithuania, Montreux Jazz Festival, Katmandu Jazz Festival ‘Jazzmandu’, and Glastonbury Festival. |
In September 2006, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming the resident singer at the world renowned ‘Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club’ supporting International Jazz legends on a weekly basis. At Ronnie Scott’s she also runs and hosts what has become the legendary monthly jam night, Soul Family Sundays. In 2007, she was nominated for a Ronnie Scott’s award for best jazz singer, as well as winning best video at the 2007 Urban Music Awards. 2003 saw Natalie sign up with the Eastside Records label collaborating on 3 critically acclaimed albums- ‘Yours Truly’, ‘Lucky Old Sun’ and ‘Secret Garden’ and she is currently working on her 4th album. Natalie can also be found presenting the Internet music show ‘Sound Tribe’ inspired by the format that has been so successful for Soul Family Sundays.
